These 22 Cities Are About to Get a Nordstrom Rack

While some retailers are closing locations, Nordstrom is bucking the trend and adding new stores to its lineup. The retailer already has 360 locations in the U.S., including Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores.

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, and shopping there can help you keep more money in your wallet.

The following Nordstrom Rack locations will open in 2024. Check to see if your city is on the list.

Nordstrom has 10 store locations in Arizona. The Queen Creek location will open this spring and add one more to the Nordstrom Rack lineup.

• The Ridge Elk Grove, Elk Grove
• Gilroy Crossing, Gilroy
• Pacific Coast Plaza, Oceanside
• Pinole Vista Crossing, Pinole
• Clairemont Town Square, San Diego
• Bridgepointe Shopping Center, San Mateo

The six Nordstrom locations will join plenty of Nordstrom-owned stores in the state. Most of these new locations will open in the spring, with the San Diego and San Mateo locations opening in the fall.

Another Nordstrom Rack location is scheduled to open in 2025 in Davis, California.

• Bell Tower, Ft. Myers
• South Beach Regional, Jacksonville

Florida already has a slew of Nordstrom locations, but this will be the first Nordstrom store of any kind in Ft. Myers. It will open in the fall.

The Nordstrom Rack location in Jacksonville will open in the spring and join two other stores: A Nordstrom at St. Johns Town Center and a Nordstrom Rack at The Markets at Town Center.

• Barrett Place, Kennesaw
• Presidential Markets, Snellville

The new Nordstrom Rack at Barrett Place in Kennesaw will feature 25,000 square feet of retail space. The store will be located in a shopping center that also includes a Best Buy, Michaels, PetSmart, and Aldi.

Both new locations will open in the spring. Georgia currently has a half-dozen Nordstrom stores.

• Danada Square East, Wheaton

Illinois already has nearly two dozen Nordstrom stores. The new location in Wheaton will open in the spring and add to Nordstrom’s presence in the Chicago metro area.

The retailer has four Nordstrom Rack shops and one Nordstrom shop in Chicago, as well as several stores in the suburbs.

A second new Nordstrom Rack store will open in Geneva, Illinois, in 2025.

• Hamilton Town Center, Noblesville

The Nordstrom Rack location in Noblesville will open in the fall and join a Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack location in Indianapolis, and a Nordstrom Rack in Schererville.

• Mooresville Crossing, Mooresville
• Triangle Town Center, Raleigh

The Raleigh location will be 32,000 square feet of retail space and is expected to open in the fall. The Mooresville location will feature 25,000 square feet of space and will open around the same time.

The state also plans to welcome a Nordstrom Rack location to Matthews, North Carolina, in 2025.

These new stores will join four existing Nordstrom locations in North Carolina.

• Village Pointe, Omaha

The Nordstrom Rack in Omaha will open in the fall. It will be the first Nordstrom location in the state of Nebraska.

• Gardiner Manor Mall, Bay Shore

Bay Shore, which is part of Long Island, is expecting the new 24,000-square-foot location to open this spring.

New York is already home to more than a dozen Nordstrom locations.

• Macedonia Gateway, Macedonia
• Deerfield Towne Center, Mason

Expect the new Macedonia location to open this spring while you’ll have to wait until fall for the Mason store to open its doors.

These stores will join nine existing Ohio Nordstrom locations.

• Cool Springs Market, Franklin

This will be only the fourth Nordstrom location in Tennessee. The new Franklin store is expected to open in the autumn.

• Meyerland Plaza, Houston
• Bandera Pointe, San Antonio

Houston and San Antonio will add Nordstrom Racks this fall, joining a bunch of Nordstrom locations already open in Texas.

Houston has one Nordstrom and three Nordstrom Rack locations already, while San Antonio has one Nordstrom and two Nordstrom Rack stores.
